Nominations open for the Gerald L. Klerman Award through the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA)

The Gerald L. Klerman Award is the highest honor that the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) gives to members of the scientific community. Each year, this award recognizes researchers whose work advances knowledge of the causes, diagnosis, and treatment of depression and bipolar disorder. The award acknowledges the dedicated researchers in science and medicine whose hard work has so ably contributed to the breakthrough advances that have been seen in the treatment of mood disorders. 

Awards are given in each of the following two categories:  

The Klerman Young Investigator Award recognizes early career contributions. Nominees must be within 15 years of the completion of their highest degree at the time of nomination. See submission form for more details. 

The Klerman Senior Investigator Award recognizes lifetime contributions. See submission form for more details. 

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
