ABOUT THE 2024 CAMPAIGN

Mental illness impacts 1 in 5 adults and 1 in 6 youth each year in the U.S. That’s why we’re launching a fundraising campaign aimed at opening the door to more conversation, research and access to care. Championed as ‘Open Minds, Open Doors: Uniting for Stigma-Free Depression Care for All,‘ we aim to continue to lift the burden of depression and bipolar disorder, increase innovations in treatment and further awareness of the stigma that surrounds this issue by raising $100,000 in the next 100 days.

Open Minds, Open Doors: Uniting for Stigma-Free Depression Care for All is more than just a campaign—it’s a movement. A movement to break down barriers, expand access to care, and ensure that no one faces the darkness of depression alone. We know depression impacts people of all backgrounds and your support helps open the door to a better tomorrow.

Within the Network of the NNDC we’ve made incredible strides in understanding depression, but there’s so much more to discover and more people to reach. Every dollar we raise will go towards supporting a cause where cutting-edge research paves the way to finding better treatments, innovative therapies, and ultimately a brighter future.

Access to quality mental health care should not be a luxury—it’s a right. Your donation will directly support initiatives that expand access to care, making sure that everyone, no matter their circumstances, can receive the support they need. Depression is not a one-size-fits-all condition, and the approach to treatment must reflect that.

Many people have personal stories of how depression has impacted them or those they love. We invite you to open the door for others by showing your support. By donating, you are helping us open doors for those who feel trapped by depression and helping us to build a future where stigma no longer stands in the way of getting help, where everyone has access to the care they deserve.

Please consider making a donation, no matter the amount, or sharing your personal story in support of this cause. Together, we can create a world where open minds lead to open doors in support of stigma-free depression care for all.
