SNAPSHOTS OF PSYCHIATRY: Accelerating Research Across the NNDC*
The NNDC is excited to return to the virtual learning space with our second virtual series Snapshots of Psychiatry.
WHY A VIRTUAL LECTURE SERIES?
Network-wide engagement has always been a key value at the NNDC. From our annual conference to our Visiting Professor Program to our Task Groups, NNDC members are always coming together to work and learn collaboratively. We’re excited expand our engagement opportunities through this virtual offering. Our newest virtual lecture series will facilitate conversation and learning for all NNDC member centers and their staff…for free! Clinicians, researchers, junior faculty, and more will gather for a thirty-minute informative presentation with robust, informal discussion to follow.
The 2021-2022 Snapshots of Psychiatry Series theme is “Accelerating Research Across the NNDC” and will feature presentations focused on breaking news from the network and showcase work being conducted or recently published among our task groups. We’re thrilled to offer six sessions, three in 2021 and three in early 2022.
The first session in this fun new series will take place on November 17th, 2021, at 5:30pm ET – 6:30pm ET. We’ll hear from Dr. Leslie Hulvershorn of Indiana University School of Medicine on “Cannabis Research: Where We Are, Where We Need to Be.”
