Suicide Prevention: Translating Evidence Into Practice

The global mortality toll for suicide exceeds that of homicide, war, and natural disasters combined. Furthermore, the rate of suicide in the US has been increasing over the past 15 years. Clearly, it is time to take action: as clinicians, we are in a unique position to help bend the curve and practice the most effective ways to saves lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.
