University of Louisville Hiring: Director of the UofL Depression Center

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Louisville announces that Jesse H. Wright, M.D., Ph.D. plans to step down as Director of the UofL Depression Center, and recruitment is beginning to fill this position. We are seeking a psychiatrist with an established track record of excellence in psychiatric research and other scholarly activity, education, and clinical practice.

The responsibilities of the Director of the University of Louisville Depression Center include administering research and clinical programs in mood disorders, collaboration with a Community Advisory Council, and philanthropic outreach. The Director will build effective bridges among departments, schools, and individuals at the University of Louisville and within the larger community and region.

This position is a full-time faculty appointment in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Louisville. Candidate should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry and have sufficient academic and research expertise to qualify for an Endowed Chair appointment.
