COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
CO-CHAIRS
The Community Programs Task Group was formed in 2018 to identify, coordinate, share, and further develop community training and education programs best practices across the Network. The group’s primary goal is to develop collaborative, evidence-based approaches to delivering community and education programs, including such topics as suicide prevention, “mental health 101”, social media and mental health, “mental health first aid”, and social and emotional intelligence. Initial communities of focus include students (athletes and Veterans), workplaces with at-risk populations, community groups (e.g. underserved populations, displaced persons), schools and parent-teacher organizations, government organizations, and groups of high-profile community members.
