Mayo Clinic is looking to recruit a Child and Adolescent Psychologist specializing in mood disorders to join the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Position Description: The successful applicant will join an energetic and collegial group of twelve (12) child psychologists, twelve (12) child psychiatrists, and many allied health clinicians within the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology. The primary role of the psychologist is to develop, evaluate, and co-lead a child and adolescent mood program that provides comprehensive and multi-disciplinary care for children and adolescents. Clinical activities include co-leading an intensive outpatient treatment program for youth with mood and emotion regulation difficulties, conducting multidisciplinary evaluations of complex pediatric mood disorders, and providing and supervising ongoing treatment for youth with mood disorders. Interested applicants can also join an initiative to develop a digital platform to increase access to evidence-based mental health care for children and adolescents. Mayo Clinic offers opportunities in leadership, program development, and research. Educational and supervision opportunities are abundant within the Medical Psychology Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program and with other trainees. Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a junior or mid-career Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist at the level of assistant professor or higher to join the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology as a full time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. Interested parties can fill out an application here.

Position Description: This role will primarily comprise of outpatient delivery of care to patients from Rochester and the surrounding communities, as well as national and international patients. The psychiatrist will also provide intermittent coverage of hospital services. Exceptional clinicians with interest and demonstrated skills in innovative models of care, research and/or educational endeavors are encouraged to apply.

The Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist will join 11 other Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology, as well as pediatric psychologists and neuropsychologists and a team of master’s level clinical social workers, advanced practice registered nurses, physician assistants and psychologists. Vibrant clinical research teams exist in several subspecialty areas and there are significant departmental and institutional resources for interested researchers. Position: PhD Psychologist – Herman House Clinical Director

The Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, is seeking a clinical psychologist with experience in the treatment of severe mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and personality disorders to join the staff of a residential treatment program as Clinical Director. Position Description: The successful applicant will collaborate with the medical director as a member of the leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive care model for the program, participate in quality improvement to rigorously evaluate outcomes, and oversee education and training of the multi-disciplinary team. Support for research to enhance comprehensive recovery across the continuum of care will be available to qualified applicants. Additional opportunities exist for collaboration across other programs in the Division of Hospital Practice, with psychology colleagues throughout the department, and for clinical and research mentorship to psychology postdoctoral fellows, psychiatry residents and fellows, and medical students. The Clinical Director will receive an academic appointment in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, at a rank commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree from an American Psychological Association (APA) or Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) accredited graduate program, will have completed an APA-or CPA-accredited internship, will be eligible for licensure in Minnesota and will either have or obtain specialty board certification from the American Board of Professional Psychology within 3 years of starting this position. Experience in evidence-based psychotherapies for psychotic, personality, and mood disorders, as well as experience working in residential treatment settings are strongly preferred.
