Academic Psychiatrist – Mood Disorders

The Mood Disorders Center (MDC) in the Department of Psychiatry in the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC) is seeking an Academic Psychiatrist with a research focus in mood disorders to join our faculty.  Appointment will be on the tenure track, open rank.  We are seeking a candidate who is committed to transforming the understanding, prevention, detection, and treatment of depression and bipolar disorder. The position is a 1.0 FTE with commensurate protected time and support for research interests with the latter devoted to scholarly pursuits which may include research and teaching.

Psychiatrist – Mood Disorders

The Department of Psychiatry in the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC) is seeking a Psychiatrist with specialty interest in mood disorders to join our faculty.  Appointment will be on the non-tenure clinical track, open rank.  Primary responsibilities will include patient care in the Mood Disorders Center outpatient specialty clinics or inpatient psychiatry mood disorders unit, supervision of residents and medical students. The position is a 1.0 FTE and consists of 80% clinical time and 20% academic time, with the latter devoted to scholarly pursuits which may include research and teaching.
